Welcome to Maroota Public School
Maroota Public School is a small community school set in the Hawkesbury area. The school grounds are expansive with playing fields, a tennis court, a shaded adventure playground and an environmental education area. Our classrooms and library are well-resourced with interactive whiteboards, laptops, computers and video conferencing equipment, which allows us to make links with other schools and educational sites. We offer high quality educational programs in all curriculum areas with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy. Our safe, caring learning environment promotes academic and personal development of all students, and our small class sizes allow our teachers to cater for individual needs. Maroota Public School is an accredited ‘Active After Schools Communities’ school and offers excellent tuition in a variety of sports. We participate in inter-school gala days and sports carnivals. We also offer environmental programs, transition programs, debating, public speaking, as well as a school choir.
